iPhone Contract and Best Web Browsing Phones

iPhone contract and best browsing

Before the advent of the most recent mobile technology boom, browsing the web on your phone was pretty much unheard of; Internet access was limited to computers and computers only. However, plans to spread the use of Internet to cell phones were executed, and the definition of "??smartphone"?? has included the ability to surf the web. Recently, two phones have demonstrated the best web browsing ability the industry has ever seen. These two phones are Apple's iPhone 3GS and the Palm Pre. With improvements from the previous phones in the series, web browsing is now easier than ever.

The recent iPhone 3GS is a no-brainer after the influential release of the 3G. Apple focused on reducing the response time that the 3G had, and it has definitely come down. What used to take five seconds to load a page now takes a single second, just like a regular computer. The commercials don't lie when they say that loading things will be faster than ever. The classic iPhone touchscreen and size makes it easy to see exactly what's needed on the page, and the finger gestures to zoom and scroll make web browsing a smooth ride. You can pick up an iPhone 3GS for $199.

The Palm Pre has a slightly smaller screen than the iPhone, but that definitely does not make it any less qualified. This phone is very convenient when it comes to browsing the web, mainly because of the ability to open up multiple applications and scroll through them with ease. You can browse through two pages at the same time with a flick to switch between the two, unlike the iPhone, which hides the tabs in a different area. You can pick up a Palm Pre for $199 after mail-in rebate.

Both these phones will display your pages the same because the two browsers are both based on the same platform. The difference between these two comes when you consider everything outside of web browsing, like applications, GPS, and other features. Both have an extensive range of the "??extras"??, but the targeted group for each phone is completely different. But one thing is definitely for sure: web browsing isn't a problem. You'll want to get a nice network for both these phones because the one thing that would completely destroy the potential of the devices is poor service.

Hopefully more phones come out in the future that will advance the abilities of phones even further. Instead of looking for the best web browsing phones, soon we will be looking for the best mini-computers instead. Technological advancements will eventually beat the laptop at it's own game and make the cell phone the next smallest computer.
